This verse reminds me to remain set apart and not desire to be accepted by unbelievers. Also to not cast my pearls amongst swine. ( Those that don’t respect my gifts , my presence , or my time. ) To not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers.

I’m reminded of times that I would be unequally yoked with others and wanting them to be excited about spiritual things and things of God like me,secretly hoping that they would change so that I could take them with me on my journey. I didn’t experience true peace until I let go and allowed them to live their lives without me convicting them and not leaving room for the Holy Spirit , and The Most High to work in their lives. The good part is verse 3;

And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he does shall prosper. Tehilliym (Psalms) 1:3

Hope this encourages you to continue to press forward towards the mark of a higher calling in Yahuah through Yahusha ha Maschiach presently known as (Jesus Christ) let me know your thoughts and experiences concerning this verse.
